My office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4pm. Please note that I have sessions every day on weekdays, and all day Saturdays. Therefore, response to inquiries may take up to 48 hours, and will be answered in the order in which they are received. Sundays are reserved for my family. Inquiries that come in during the weekend will be replied to on the next business day. I am always grateful for inquiries and these requests are meant to help serve you better.
I would define my style of photography as natural light, lifestyle family photography. I specialize in documenting everyday moments and connections of babies, children and families. I offer Fresh 48, Newborn, Maternity, Family, and special milestone sessions (such as birthdays, communion, baptism, quinces). I no longer offer event photography. I offer private sessions year round as well as several seasonal mini sessions throughout the year.
When booking a maternity session, I suggest booking after your first trimester. The ideal time for your session is 28-32 weeks.
When booking a Fresh 48 or Newborn session, I suggest booking in your last trimester.
All other sessions, my weekends are usually booked far in advance so if you are looking for a weekend session I recommend booking 2-3 months out. Weekdays allow for more flexibility, so 1 month out is usually enough time.
Generally, I don't use props. However, if there is something that is very meaningful to you, let's discuss it and see if we can find a way to work it in naturally.
Pre-planning, our session together, and your online gallery are part of an all-inclusive package. All my packages include all best edited, high resolution images on an online gallery with free digital download. I set it up this way to keep it simple for you and so that you don't have to pick and choose which photos you want. I will provide a wide selection of images for you that reflect a variety of shots. I will make them available to you in your personalized and private online gallery. In addition, you have the option to purchase prints and other photo products directly from your gallery. All products purchased from gallery are printed professionally by Miller's Lab and shipped directly to you. I will provide printing suggestions for you, but once you download your files they are yours to keep forever. So download, share, and store in a safe place!
First and foremost, be comfortable and wear something that reflects who you are! It's best to coordinate instead of matching as that can become distracting and take away from your photos. Try to focus on complimentary tones, beautiful texture, and simplicity. Think neutral colors, muted pastels or deep, rich colors. I want to keep the focus on you and keep your photos timeless! But be you and set the tone for your photos with what feels right for you! This will shine through more than anything. Sometimes it works best to start with one outfit and build from there. I'm always available to help with final outfit selection if needed.
I will provide fully edited digital images for you to view, download, and share. While I take pride in my craft and want to create beautiful and meaningful images for you, I won't be making major changes in photoshop since our goal is to create natural and authentic photos. I'll remove little blemishes and polish things up a little, but I want your photos to represent you and not a highly photoshopped version of you!
You may reschedule once if you notify me at least 48 hours in advance. We can transfer the session payment to a new date as long as it is within 6 weeks of the original booked date. This does not include rescheduling due to weather (rain, extreme cold) or a conflict out of my control. If I'm sick, I will also reschedule because I would never want to expose your family, especially newborns! Please note all retainers paid are non-refundable.
Photographers typically retain copyrights to all images, but you are absolutely allowed to download, print and share! Providing a gallery of downloadable files makes this easier for you. Please do not alter images in any way (applying filters, big no no). I appreciate if you credit Leeana PS Photography when sharing images.
